Yeah thats what I think we are going to add, they are a bit easier to get out so we could update more but we will still do regular prefs too!
I don’t like writing about these situations, and i know this is a trigger for many people so i don’t think this will be getting done unless one of the others are comfortable with it. XX Kaitlyn
yep, I can try and get it up by tonight or tomorrow morning :)
I’m gonna be on Hiatus for a while, sorry guys.
In case you can’t tell I don’t feel like writing preferences right now, so as of August 4, I’m taking a break for an unknown amount of time for now.
If you want to get in contact with me click here
And yea that’s pretty much it…
I know i just said grammar, blah, blah, blah, read it over, yadda, yadda, yadda. But I’d like to say sorry if there are mistakes, i’m on my iPod and its being obnoxious and its 3:15 in the morning. Dont get mad at me okay.. I cant even see straight right now, so I’m going to bed.
P.S. on tuesday i saw Ed, and holy mother of everyone, he was adorable and flawless again. Although with the change up he didnt sing UNI (which is one of my favourites) but he got to stand in the middle of the crowd and sing four songs (one being a new one no one’s heard before that doesnt even have a name yet) at the end of the show… And on his way backstage after he finished I touched him -dreamy sigh- But he’s just a musical genius, if you ever have an option to see him live, take it without hesitation.
Is in GENERAL:
There’s a time for description and there’s a time to keep you posts short and sweet. Some times readers want things long, and for certain things you have to keep it simple. It’s likely you’ll know when those times are.
Grammar, check things over before you post it ( I used to hate reading over my writing, but then i realized that editing needs to be done) because sometimes you just forget to put a word here or there. People like reading things that make sense, and that are clear and concise make it general (because there are a lot of different people in the world)
Have fun, make sure you enjoy writing, there’s going to be a lot of it. If you dont love it, you should probably stop now, it’s only going to get harder. Coming up with five different ideas on one topic can be difficult, trust me. There are times i’ve struggled and have completely scrapped ideas.
That being said DO NOT, I repeat do not, steal other peoples preferences. Dont try and be sneaky, you wont get away with it. Believe it or not, you have a specific writing style as does every preference writer, people will be able to tell. Plus there are a bunch of readers so someones bound to have read it by the original poster.
It’ll take time before you start getting lots of notes, make sure you tag your posts the appropriate way. There’s nothing people hate more than having something that’s not a preference in “one direction preferences” it makes people angry. You’ll get more followers along the way an eventually get more notes, dont worry if you start off with small numbers. You’ll work your way up.
I got a few people asking me to read over their preferences and instead of posting each of the asks, I thought I’d make a collective post. By no means are the tips directed towards your blogs, they are simply tips of things i’d recommend for any starting preference blog.
Most importantly, have fun because thats what writing is, thats why you should do it. Dont let people pressure you or tell you what to do. Ultimately, it’s your blog and you’re in control. You dont have to work around anyone’s schedule but your own. Good luck you guys! (:
*for the people who told me to read your preferences, they were good, just believe in yourselves!*
